Atlanta Falcons vs Carolina Panthers Live Stream: Watch NFL 2014 Football Online (Fox TV Start Time, Preview)

The Atlanta Falcons will face off against the Carolina Panthers on Sunday with both teams in desperate need of a win to keep any hopes of a postseason berth alive. Today's big game will take place at the Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina and will start at 1 p.m. ET. The game will be shown on TV on the Fox network, but can also be watched online through live stream (details below).

The Atlanta Falcons have disappointed hugely this season, and come into Week 11 on 3-6. The Carolina Panthers are barely any better with a record of 3-6-1, and the only reason that either still has any hope in the chase for the NFC South division title is that everyone has been so poor.

Currently in the division, the New Orleans Saints are top with a record of just 4-5. The Panthers sneak into second with 3-6-1, and the Falcons are just behind on 3-6. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are cut off at the bottom with 1-8 and are simply looking to salvage some pride in their season now.

Amazingly for whoever wins today out of the Panthers and Falcons there will be strong hope that they can then push on and win the division. However, the loser will likely fall into insignificance in the race for the division title.

Matt Ryan and Cam Newton will fight it out in the quarterback battle today. Ryan is 218 of 336 for 2,525 yards and 16 touchdowns, where as Newton is 172 of 296 for 2,100 yards and 10 touchdowns.

Both teams have been uninspired on the rush this season, with the Falcons managing to move 97.2 yards on the ground this season per game, and the Panthers only managing 95.4 yards on average in that same department.

On pass the Falcons have done better, posting an average of 272.4 yards in the air per game, where as the Panthers have registered 225.4 yards on pass per game.
