'Avatar 2' News: Neytiri's Children to Be Featured in Sequel?

"Avatar" is one movie that has largely become a part of the lives of not only the children who watched it but the adults as well, and with the coming of a new movie, it is rumored that Zoe Saldana's Neytiri will have children, which makes for a rather interesting plot.

If the rumor turns out to be true, fans should see a whole new Neytiri, now a mother, and not just protecting her tribe but also protecting her offspring.

Another thing that will make the sequel more interesting if the rumor becomes a reality is that fans will see Sam Worthington's Jake Sully being a father. It would be interesting to see his side as a father while he continues to battle anyone who tries to take over Pandora.

A possible conflict that could be raised with a story line of Neytiri and Jake raising a family is how the parents will handle their children while trying to protect their home. The issue comes in between raising good children who don't have to experience the battles and struggles involved within Pandora's bounds and putting one's parental responsibilities behind to fend off invaders.

It was recently confirmed that Stephen Lang will reprise his role as Col. Miles Quaritch, which could possibly mean that the battle between humans and the Na'vis will take on a second round.

Director James Cameron also said four years back that the sequel and possibly a third and fourth, or even fifth, movie in the franchise will definitely make way for jobless artists to make a living.

Cameron's statements not only promise a way for people to finally say they have been hired but also promise that with more people working on the sequel, fans will see a story that will either be just as good or could even be better than the first.

"Avatar 2" is expected to hit the big screens sometime in December 2016.
