'Avatar 2' Spoilers: Oceans of Pandora Figure in the Sequel Plot

Fans will be excited to hear that the upcoming film "Avatar 2" will begin shooting in a couple of months.

It was reported that "Avatar 2" will begin its production this Apr. 15. The filming is expected to take place in new Zealand and Manhattan Beach, California. With that, fans are waiting to see what the story will hold for the next installment.

There have been fan theories regarding the plot of the new movie. There were reports suggesting that "Avatar 2" will focus on Jake Sully, played by Sam Worthington, and Neytiri's, played by Zoe Saldana, children. In addition, it was rumored that Sully will soon be the chieftain of their tribe, while Neytiri will serve as a priestess.

Meanwhile, it was confirmed that several stars will be returning to the upcoming film. One of the most-talked-about return is that of Sigourney Weaver's. Her character was seen facing death in the previous installment of the franchise. With that, her return will surely be an interesting part of the storyline.

In addition, it was reported that Stephen Lang will also be reprising his role in the film. According to James Cameron, the director of the film, he will be featured not just in the upcoming installment, but for the next ones as well.

The film has been experiencing much delay due to the lack of technology available to produce Cameron's vision for the film. With that, it was reported that the team behind the movie were developing a new technology that will allow scenes to be shot underwater. This will allow fans to get a look into the oceanic world of Pandora, which was not explored in the previous film.

In addition, it was said that Cameron is planning to film the three installments of "Avatar" consecutively. The next installments are expected to release a year apart from each other.

"Avatar 2" is expected to release in theaters this December.
