'Bates Motel' Season 4 Episode 8 Spoilers: Norman Demands Full Attention From Norma; Wants Romero Out
This week, A&E will air a brand new episode from its hit psychological drama TV series "Bates Motel" Season 4, which happens to be written by the series star, Freddie Highmore. The actor plays as the creepy character Norman Bates who would later become the infamous killer in Alfred Hitchcock's critically-acclaimed film, "Psycho."
The new episode titled "Unfaithful" will see how things turn out for Norma (Vera Farmiga) and Alex Romero (Nestor Carbonell) now that the former's beloved son returns home from Pine View Mental Institution.
The Bates Motel Wiki for the episode indicates that the Bates matriarch will be torn between her husband and son. Fans of the series know exactly how demanding Norman is of his mother's attention. Norman himself, starts to notice that so much has changed since he left for the institution and he obviously doesn't like how things are going.

Needless to say, Norman's return is bad news for everyone around him. It seems like he has become worse since he got out of Pine View. Last episode, viewers found the character agitated and more than eager to break free from the said place when he heard that his mother is already married to Romero. This is something that affected him really greatly. In fact, Norman now experiences more occurrences of "blackouts" while his possessive "mother" personality takes control of his body.
A promo dropped by the network shows exactly how violent Norman has now become. The clip opens up with the mother and son sleeping on the same bed. He insists that it would be more comfortable for them to sleep together. He also creeps in whenever his step father and Norma share an intimate moment.
Norman even went overboard with his possessiveness by confronting Romero, thanking him first for being there while he was away and that he is now relieved of his task. Therefore, it is now time for them to get a divorce. Romero, of course, won't easily give in to the ridiculous demands of his step-son.
