'Batman vs Superman' Movie News: Wonder Woman in ALS Ice Bucket Challenge

The 'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice' movie continues to draw huge interest as fans wait for what is sure to be one of the biggest superhero movies of the coming years. The movie is expected to arrive in movie theaters on March 25, 2016, but despite the long time until the release date, every week there are various rumors surrounding Ben Affleck's stint as Batman, and numerous other cast leaks.

In recent rumors, Ben Affleck's 'Argo' co-star Scoot McNairy is rumored to join the cast as Justice League member The Flash.

The 36-year-old Dallas, Texas native was seen on set wearing green socks, which sparked reports that his feet were being used as part of CGI scenes. The filming of his feed for the part of Flash is of course important due to The Flash's super speed power.

Photos have appeared online showing McNairy wearing the socks backstage.

However, others are not convinced he will be the Flash. According to an MTV report, the '12 Years a Slave' actor could instead play cyborg Metallo (aka John Corben), a Metropolis villain who is powered by Kryptonite.

In other 'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice' news, Wonder Woman actress, Gal Gadot, challenged her film director Zack Snyder, actress Kate Winslet and Lynda Carter (the original Wonder Woman from the 1970's TV series) to the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge to provide awareness to Lou Gehrig's disease.

"I Donated to ‪#‎ALS and took the ‪#‎IceBucketChallenge I challenge Zack Snyder, Kate Winslet and the original ‪#‎WonderWoman Lynda Carter," wrote Gadot on Twitter.

The new 'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice' film stars Henry Cavill as Superman, Ben Affleck as Batman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Laurence Fishburne as Perry White, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Jeremy Irons as Alfred Pennyworth, Diane Lane as Martha Kent, Ray Fisher as Cyborg, as well as Tao Okamoto, Callan Mulvey and Holly Hunter.

The 'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice' movie is set to premiere March 25, 2016.
