The film will still have the original touch of a musical; however, there will be slight changes to the songs. It is expected to hear three new songs for the soundtrack from Menken and Rice.

These three songs will be incorporated in the film with the other original songs from the movie. 'Days in the Sun' is one song which will be included and it is for the objects in the castle that are nostalgic about their lives when they were still humans. 'Forever More' is a love song that Beast will sing once he finally realizes that he is in love with Belle. This has also been composed as a replacement for the original song, 'If I Can't Love Her,' which Menken stressed that it will not be appropriate for the movie.

Menken explained that Beast will sing the song about knowing what love is at a later part in the film, so the lyrics for the song 'If I Can't Love Her' will not really work out.

There has no confirmation yet on what the third song will be about. In addition to this film, Menken and Rice have already worked together before for the soundtrack of "Aladdin."

An All-Out Musical

The songs for this Beauty and the Beast film will not be from the Broadway version of it; however, the original songs will remain in the film.

The movie is about a young woman who understands the Beast (Dan Stevens) as he is. Belle (Emma Watson) does not judge him for the way he looks. In the end, she and the Beast, who happens to be a prince, will fall in love and it will be a happy ending for the both of them.

This movie adaptation from the original animated film will be a musical and viewers will hear Emma Watson sing the songs of Belle.

The movie will be kicking off in the U.S on March 17, 2017.
