'Better Call Saul' Season 2 Spoilers: Join Jimmy On His Road to 'Breaking Bad'

In the previous season of "Better Call Saul," fans were left wondering what Jimmy McGill (Bob Odenkirk) will do now that he is faced with the decision of choosing between right and wrong. This time around, though, it seems the good lawyer may not be treading the path of righteousness anymore.

Rumors around the upcoming season are fresh on social media, especially after the trailers seemed to indicate that McGill's journey to becoming Saul Goodman in "Breaking Bad" may finally be depicted.

For the most part, McGill has tried his best to be on the path of the good and right. Season 1 saw him struggle with the wiles of a dirty game that he never expected to see himself in. In season 2, rumors suggest that he will finally see the transformation that he was called for.

In one of the teasers, he is seen talking to a group of teens, telling them the story of "a guy called 'Slippin' Jimmy'," which is actually the name Goodman is very well known of. The trailers also reveal that he will be in the brink of death many times, which could probably explain why he will decide to be the con artist seen in "Breaking Bad."

While many fans are excited to see the transformation, some of McGill's friends think his new journey may not be a good idea after all. In the same trailer where he tells Slippin' Jimmy's story, Kim Wexler (Rhea Seehom) tells McGill, "You're better than this."

On the other hand, the producers agree that it's time to tell the good, old story of Saul Goodman. According to TV Line, showrunner Peter Gould said in a statement, "Jimmy McGill's journey takes surprising, left-handed turns in Season 2. He goes to places we'd never, ever expected."

Gould's words made fans believe that there's nothing good in Goodman after all and the shift of character may not be just like the usual changes in some TV shows where the good guy turns bad and then turns good again. After all, McGill was born to be bad.

Season 2 of "Better Call Saul" airs on Feb. 15, 2016 on AMC.
