'Big Brother' 16 Spoilers: Detonators Alliance Threatens to Explode in the BB House

The Big Brother house threatened to explode last night during the nomination ceremony, as Heads of Household Frankie and Zach put up their four nominees. A new alliance was born, and the Detonators threatened to blow themselves apart.

Zach decreed that Amber was the target of the week because she was planning an all-female alliance and would come after him should she gain power. However, when Zach told Amber she was the target, she informed him that she would spill all she knew about the Detonators' alliance if she was put up for eviction. Zach acted cool about the incident, but secretly worried what would happen if the Detonators were revealed.

Zach then went to Christine and asked her to "take one for the team" and go up on the block as a pawn so they could get Amber out. He wanted Christine to throw the Battle of the Block competition and keep Amber on the block; Christine was shocked at the idea and absolutely refused to comply with Zach's terms, sending him over the edge.

At the nomination ceremony, Zach nominated Nicole and Christine; he wanted to shock Nicole and suspected that she was working behind-the-scenes with Christine. All he managed to do was gain sympathy for Nicole and anger Christine. Frankie nominated Jocasta and Victoria so that he would not get any blood on his hands. The two were seriously hurt but went along with it, determined to win the Battle of the Block and keep themselves safe.

Nicole and Christine knew they needed to win Battle of the Block to dethrone Zach, whom everyone agreed was getting too cocky and egotistical. They did win the Battle, much to his dismay, and that left Frankie with a very tough decision … to go along with the House and possibly put Zach up for nomination or to play it safe and work on getting Amber out of the House. Watch what happens on Wednesday night during the Power of the Veto competition.

"Big Brother" airs Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday nights on CBS.
