'Big Brother 18' News, Updates and Spoilers: Did Victor Arroyo Win His Way Back into the BB18 House?
All it took was 45 minutes for Victor Arroyo to win his way back into the house, proving once again that he is Big Brother 18's comp beast!
A quick recap of what went down before: Victor and Corey Brooks were up on the block this week, and Victor was a sure lock for eviction, especially since James Huling, Natalie Negrotti, and Nicole Franzel were in on a (treacherous) alliance with Corey.
Paul Abrahamian, the significant half of Victor's bromance, then worked the house to get Corey evicted instead, including staging a fake fight with Victor so everyone will think he had turned his back on him. He also tried to get close to Nicole and Corey so it would seem like they were flipping on James and Natalie.
Decisive vote
But then, it all boiled down to James. Victor and Paul knew that they only had to convince Natalie, James' showmance, that the NiCorey team was a dangerous ally to begin with. Victor worked Natalie and Michelle, saying he'd even evict Paul next week if they wanted to.
Natalie tried to convince James to keep Victor in the house. But then James, being James, seemed hesitant as always. He was probably thinking two things: first, that Victor was a beast, winning almost every competition he is in and therefore dangerous to keep in the house; and second, Victor and Natalie previously had a romantic history and, apparently, was too insecure.
Eviction night
And so, courtesy of James' swing vote, Victor was evicted - only to find from host Julia Chen that he gets another opportunity to win his way back into the house via a jury buyback competition. He'll compete with the first four jurors: Zakiyah Everette, Da'Vonne Rogers, Bridgette Dunning and Paulie Calafiore.
The jury buyback was a wall comp and the jurors were also up against the current houseguests to win HoH. Victor easily outstood the four jurors and won his way back into the house in all of 45 minutes, making him the first houseguest in history to return to the house after being evicted thrice.
Just as we were starting to think he's not human, he fell right after he won over the jurors. Nicole won HoH after James threw her the win (wall comps are his specialty because they require small feet). It was a complete mistake because Nicole and Corey decided to throw JaTalie under the bus in favor of the stronger duo in the house: Paul and Victor!
Nicole put up Michelle Meyer and Paul up on the block (Paul was informed in advance). And when Michelle went down, Nicole said she'd take down JaTalie.

Things are looking bad for the other showmance duo, although now it seems like fans have a favorite Final 2: Paul, the mastermind of the house; and Victor, the comp beast. Will they last long enough to make it there?
