'Blindspot' Season 1 News, Spoilers: Jane Takes Matters Into Her Own Hands
NBC's hit crime fighting drama TV series "Blindspot" Season 1 returns this week with a suspenseful, brand new episode that is expected to see Jane Doe (Jaimie Alexander) finally taking matters into her own hands.
Spoiler alert for those who missed "If Love A Rebel, Death Will Render/The Final Order Will Be Revealed," Jane found out that Oscar (Francois Arnaud), whom she trusted so much about her past, was actually just using her to frame and take down her boss, Bethany Mayfair (Marianne Jean-Baptiste).
The conspiracy even pushed Mayfair to think that Jane was after for her head. Now that the FBI boss was gone, Jane will see to it that justice will be brought to her, Alexander said during an interview with Entertainment Weekly.
"It's sickening, because she's thinking, 'Why would I want to kill somebody?'" the actress said.
However, going after Oscar and finding justice won't be the only issues that Jane has to deal with in the Season 1 finale of the NBC show.
For one, there's the confession of Kurt Weller's (Sullivan Stapleton) father who, while heavily sedated at a hospital in episode 22, confessed that he was somehow involved in the disappearance of then Taylor Shaw.
The viewers might be shocked to this new development. Mr. Weller earlier said that he has nothing to do with what happened to his son's best friend.
EW hinted that this piece of information will prompt Weller to go in a hunting mode to find out if what his father has been talking about is true. In fact, this storyline will lead to a "shocking discovery" which will create a big impact to what "Blindspot" Season 2 will be about.
TV Listings shares the synopsis for "Blindspot" Season 1 Episode 23, the finale, titled "Why Await Life's End:"
"Weller looks for the truth within a distressing and confusing assertion; Jane approaches a former suspect for help with Oscar; the other team members try to help a friend."
