American mobile phone manufacturer Blu has recently launched a new smartphone in India and it's dubbed as Life Mark. According to International Business Times, the device is going to be available in Amazon India with a price tag of only Rs 8,999 (approximately $130).

As a midrange smartphone, its highlight feature is a fingerprint scanner that is located at the back. Its other specifications include a 5-inch HD IPS display with 720 x 1280 pixel resolution. Gadgets 360 also detailed that the device is equipped with a quad-core MediaTek MT6735 processor running at 1.3 GHz paired with 2 GB of RAM. Moreover, the handset also comes with 4G, LTE, 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth, and GPS as connectivity options. It also supports dual-SIM and sports a CNC machines-metal build. Consumers who are interested in purchasing one can choose from the color options available, which include Slate Gary, White, and Gold.

Considering the budget price range, the device is said to be a competition to other smartphones like Coolpad Note 3, Coolpad Note 3 Lite, and Huawei Honor Holly 2 Plus. Blu is not announcing any flagship smartphone yet, but fans of this mobile brand can opt to pick up the Life Mark for now or Blu's other recent releases, Vivo 5 and Vivo XL.
