'Blue Bloods' Season 6 Episode 11 Spoilers: Frank Reagan's Dirty Little Secrets Are About To Get Exposed

After a lengthy vacation off-air, the valiant police officers of CBS' hit police-procedural drama TV series "Blue Bloods" Season 6 will be back on duty. However, one of them is about to get his past unearthed. Meanwhile, a simple call for help might put two characters in jeopardy.

According to the synopsis shared over at The Futon Critic for the episode called "Back In The Day," Frank Reagan's (Tom Selleck) first partner in duty talks of his plans to publish a memoir filled with stories about their early days on the force.

Despite the good intentions of the person in question, for Frank, it could compromise his name especially since he is already holding a much higher rank in the hierarchy of the NYPD. Needless to say, there might be people below the ladder who are on the lookout for anything that could pull the police commissioner down from his level. This tell-all book might give them the chance to point out Frank's dirt, regardless if it already belongs in the past.

Viewers might expect the character to be in a state of distress in this episode. Given his position in the department and his status in the city, it would be understandable for him to feel that way as the information could have some major repercussions not only on his career as a public figure but on his personal life as well.

Will he allow his ex-buddy to publish the book and take in the consequences or will he try to negotiate with the person?

While the head of the clan worries about his status, Jamie (Will Estes) and his partner, Eddie (Vanessa Ray) will respond to a call from a nearby officer who needs assistance. The incident, however, will put them in a situation where their relationship and their future in the department are about to get jeopardized.

Find out how these things unfold when "Blue Bloods" Season 6 airs this Friday, Jan. 8 at 10 p.m. ET on CBS.
