'Blue Bloods' Season 6 Episode 12 Spoilers: Danny, Baez Race To Stop An Impending Mob War
CBS' hit police-procedural drama TV series "Blue Bloods" Season 6 is returning this week with an intense, action-packed brand new episode that will see the finest cops of the New York Police Department rushing over to prevent an impending gang war. Meanwhile, the head of the Reagan clan is confronted with a very difficult request.
According to the synopsis posted over at The Futon Critic for the episode titled "Cursed," the NYC force will be put to the task of managing an incident before it escalates into something bigger. The summary particularly pointed out that Danny (Donnie Wahlberg) and Baez (Marisa Ramirez) will get wind of a report about a local mobster who was gunned down while inside his car. This puts the city in a quite dangerous position as anytime soon, a war between opposing factions could erupt and this might endanger innocent civilians.
This puts the department in a tight spot where their immediate concern is to find out the truth about the hit rather than solve the crime first so that they may be able to get hold of the situation before it turns for the worse.
To their luck, Danny and Baez will find a low-level errand boy who got tied up in the trunk of the victim's car. Perhaps this witness can give them the needed information as to which group was involved in the crime.
While the clock is ticking for Danny and Baez, NYPD's commissioner Frank Reagan (Tom Selleck) will receive a request that will put him in a tough position. According to TFC, an NYPD officer will step up to ask the higher-up for a new shield number. Her intention is to honor her late father, who can be assumed to have also served the department. However, this request gets Frank to do some serious thinking as the number she requested for happens to be the same as his deceased son's number. Will he give in to the request?
Find out how these things unfold when "Blue Bloods" Season 6 airs this Friday, Jan. 15, at 10 p.m. on CBS.
