'Bourne 5' Spoilers: Super Bowl to Feature First Trailer?
It seems the long wait may not be too long after all as it has been confirmed that fans will finally get to have a first look at "Bourne 5" through a trailer that is set to release in this year's Super Bowl telecast.
There has been speculation earlier that the first trailer will be released anytime soon, but this wasn't expected. For the most part, the Super Bowl is given to commercials, not trailers. This only means the movie is just too special that it has to be featured in the 50th anniversary of the National Football League championships.
Multiple outlets reported over the past few days that Eric Van Lustbader himself confirmed the news on Facebook. However, his post has since been deleted. Comic Book Movie News has obtained a screen shot of the post to give fans a look at what the author said. "BREAKING NEWS! The first trailer for the new Bourne film will be shown during this year's Superbowl telecast. At that time I believe you'll find out the title of the film. (I know it, but I'm sworn to secrecy). So tune in on February 7th to check out all the excitement. I, for one, can't wait!!!"

It has well been nine years since Jason Bourne (Matt Damon) set foot in the big screens and it's about time somebody said something about what fans should expect. On the other hand, there has been speculation that the rumor might not be true after all since Van Lustbader deleted his post on social media.
It could also be true that the trailer was supposed to be featured during NFL's 50th, but something might have gone wrong with negotiations, which probably made Van Lustbader take down his post. On the other hand, it could still happen and fans will just have to wait and see if the author was joking or not.
"Bourne 5," which happens to have an unrevealed title, is scheduled to hit the big screens on July 29, while the NFL's Super Bowl airs on CBS on Sunday, Feb. 7, at 6:30 p.m.
