'Bridget Jones's Baby' News: Crew Filmed in London Despite Rain
As the third movie in the "Bridget Jones" franchise rolls on, the team is obviously determined to beat the time line as Renée Zellweger, Colin Firth, and Patrick Dempsey were spotted filming in London.
According to The Daily Mail, Firth, who plays Mark Darcy, and Dempsey, whose role is still under wraps, were seen carrying a very pregnant Zellweger into the maternity unit of University College London Hospital.
Zellweger, who plays the heroine, looked amazing as a pregnant lady in her striped top, blue furry coat, skinny jeans, and black boots. Firth, who plays Bridget Jones' love interest, sported a coat and tie suit, while Dempsey, who is obviously Darcy's opposite, doted on the heroine with his dark brown jacket and black pants.

Fans praised the cast and crew as they continued to film despite the falling rain. Doubles and actors wearing nursing scrub suits were also on the go as filming continued in between rain showers.
As far as production is concerned, the plot has remained a mystery to fans who have tried to get a glimpse of the cast during filming. It is still unknown who the baby's father is, and with the two men showing care for the hopeless romantic, it seems there will be a battle between the men to win the lady's heart.
Dempsey's role has also been kept in the dark for the most part, but fans speculate that he might have been cast to replace Hugh Grant, who won't be back to reprise his role as Daniel.
Also, with Dempsey's suit during the London filming, fans speculate that he may be Darcy's total opposite — more rough, rugged, and more shaggy than the prim and proper guy. If the speculations turn out to be true, a battle between two totally different guys would be an interesting reason to watch the upcoming movie.
"Bridget Jones's Baby" is expected to hit the big screens on Sept. 16, 2016.
