'Captain America: Civil War' News: Anthony Mackie Appears to Give Away Hulk Appearance
"Captain America: The Winter Soldier" actor Anthony Mackie, who plays the role of Sam Wilson/Falcon in the Marvel Cinematic Universe films, may have accidentally revealed an as-yet-unannounced casting in the much-anticipated "Captain America: Civil War," which comes out in just a couple of months.
In a recent interview on Radio 1's "Movies With Ali Plumb," Mackie talked about the many reasons Marvel fans should get excited for the film and re-iterated that "Civil War" is Marvel's best film yet. Then, as he rolled off a list of the actors in the upcoming film, he distinctly mentioned actor Mark Ruffalo, who plays Bruce Banner/Hulk in the Avengers films, but has not been announced in the "Civil War" roster nor appeared in any of the promotional material for that film.
"It's Marvel's best movie so far... It's really, really good. It's because it's more of an acting movie than an action movie," the actor said. "I feel like the story is very concise and interesting, and you get to see Robert Downey, Jr. and Chris Evans and Scarlett Johannson and Mark Ruffalo and everybody just do really, really good acting. And then there's action in it. I think it might be the first superhero movie that might be up for Best Picture."

It may have well been a mere slip of the tongue, but could there also be a possibility that this announcement was an accidental revelation about a detail that Marvel has been trying to keep a secret from the general public? Although his presence in the film has been, apart from Mackie's interview, completely denied, could the Hulk actually be in "Civil War"?
"Captain America: Civil War" hits theaters on May 6. Meanwhile, Bruce Banner/Hulk has been confirmed to appear opposite Thor (Chris Hemsworth) in "Thor: Ragnarok," which drops Nov. 3, 2017.
