'Captain America: Civil War' News: Chris Evans Talks Choosing Sides

Fans of Captain America and Iron Man need to brace themselves as the Captain himself dropped some important statements about the battle that will occur in "Captain America: Civil War."

When the plot was first revealed, a wide gap was created between fans of two heroes who have largely become savers of the day in "Avengers" on various occasions. While it is imminent that fans are picking a hero to side on, the Captain himself has something to say to those who still haven't decided which side they will take on.

In an interview with Cineplex, Chris Evans said, "The beautiful thing about 'Civil War' is that no one's right and no one's wrong; it's just your personal opinion." This means fans won't need to get into heated debates as to which hero is the big bad and which hero created the fallout between two good friends.

Evans went on to explain how the change will happen and how much it will impact his character and that of Robert Downey Jr. He said the evolution happens in both Captain America and Iron Man as the former who once was used to the system starts to doubt the treatment being given to superheroes, then there's Tony Stark who is obviously the rebel but suddenly realizes that maybe the higher powers are right; maybe superheroes need organization.

What's more interesting is that it won't just be Steve Rogers and Tony Stark fighting for what they think is right but other superheroes as well who want to prove the legitimacy of their beliefs.

Meanwhile, a rumor straight from the oven is swirling around outlets and it's not sounding so good. The rumor says fans will have to bid Captain America good-bye as he will ask the government to keep away from the heroes who chose to side with him. He will plead for their freedom in exchange of theirs.

The theory further says Bucky Barnes will be seen taking Cap's shield in the movie, which means Marvel is paving the way for a new Captain America in the upcoming films. While the rumor is very hot, it should be noted that Marvel has not confirmed the news.

Moviegoers will just have to wait for the truth when "Captain America: Civil War" hits the big screens on May 6, 2016.
