'Captain America: Civil War' Spoiler: Samuel L. Jackson's Nick Fury Will Not Be Returning

Even though the upcoming "Captain America: Civil War" civil war film is expected to bring a lot of major characters back in the big screen, it was confirmed that one will not be taking part in the action.

The upcoming Marvel movie will be seeing the divide of the Avengers, with Captain America leading one side, and Iron Man leading another. The two will be on opposing sides regarding the registration act that is supposed to be implemented for superheros.

With the divide, the rest of the Marvel heroes are to take on a side to fight with. However, it was recently confirmed that an important member of the S.H.I.E.L.D. will no longer be present in the movie. While Nick Fury, played by Samuel L. Jackson, has played a huge part in developing the Marvel Cinematic Universe, he will not be seen in the big screen for the most epic moment in the world of Marvel.

According to HNGN, Jackson stated, "It's really great to be the connective tissue between so many different characters in so many different films, that brings those guys together. But I'm not in Captain America 3. I can't figure that out, but I'm not. I guess I'm still out there, trying to figure out what happened to S.H.I.E.L.D. and who these other people are."

Nevertheless, he expressed his happiness to have had the opportunity to work on such as legendary franchise. He added, "But it's an amazing honor to be that guy, to be Nick Fury, to be in that particular world, and to be a character that people believe. It's great."

With his exit, the film will also be introducing some new characters to expand the Marvel Cinematic Universe, which include Spider-Man and Black Panther.

"Captain America: Civil War" will be released in cinemas on May 6, 2016.
