'Castle' Season 8 Spoilers: Rick, Kate Get Caught In International Crisis; Episode 13 Details Out

Fans of ABC's hit police procedural drama TV series "Castle" Season 8 were utterly delighted with the show's successive airing.

On Sunday, Feb. 14, the Stana Katic and Nathan Fillion-starred drama aired a special episode titled "Witness for the Prosecution," where its protagonist, Richard Castle, stood in court for the first time. This week, meanwhile, the show returns with an all-new action-packed episode.

According to the synopsis shared over at The Futon Critic for the upcoming episode called "Dead Red," the son of a very important Russian official turns up dead. Called into the case are partners Beckett and Castle. As they delve deeper into the rabbit hole, the couple find themselves getting trapped in what turns out to be a "dangerous game of international crime and punishment." Making matters worse is the fact that Castle will have to deal with a "jovial Russian security officer." The latter, as added by TFC, is revealed to be "more involved" in the case "than anyone else."

Episode 11 "Dead Red" was written by Jim Adler and directed by Jeannot Szwarc.

In related news, Carter Matt just dropped the major details on an episode that is slated to air in the next few weeks. Titled "And Justice for All," the new installment premieres Monday, Feb. 29, and will likely see the fan-favorite novelist going undercover.

As mentioned in the synopsis shared by the media outlet, Beckett and the 12th Precinct will get wind of a murder case which involves the death of an English as a Second Language (ESL) student. Fearing that they might get caught up in the ruckus, the whole class chose to remain silent throughout the investigation and this further frustrates the operatives.

To remedy the problem, they send in one of their own in an undercover mission. Castle will go in as a French Canadian immigrant who wants to learn the lingua franca of the States. But it's not only the English language that Castle would learn in the class as he will also get to know more about the victim.

"Castle" Season 8 airs Monday, at 10 p.m. on ABC.
