'Castle' Season 8 Episode 20 Spoilers: Rick Got Cornered By A Drug Lord
ABC's hit police procedural drama TV series "Castle" Season 8 returns this week with an all-new episode that finds Rick caught in a dire situation – a matter between life and death.
The spoiler report from Carter Matt for the upcoming episode titled "Much Ado About Murder," indicates that Rick and Kate will be called on to investigate the death of a theater actor who got murdered while practicing his lines on stage. The couple goes into deep with the case and things quickly turn for the worse when Rick got kidnapped by a drug lord. The latter happens to be the primary suspect in the actor's death.
A sneak peek released by the network shows some of the interesting developments about the case that are about to get feaured in the segment. The clip opens up with Rick urging what appears to be the boss of the drug cartel to free him of his ties and discuss things with him formally. The kingpin agrees and Rick got untied. The novelist learns straight from the suspect's mouth that he is somehow connected to the victim. According to the person in question, he was approached by the actor for a business deal wherein his life as a mobster will be used as his piece. The cartel boss turned down the offer saying the man can't act.
However, he gave the late performer the chance to nab the rights on the suspect's life by first appearing in a "Hamlet" stage performance and that the Times should give a good review of it. And then during the rehearsal, the man was found dead.
Rick is quick to realize in the video that they may have got the wrong man for the crime. Unfortunately, he could no longer break free from the drug lord's clutches. The latter ordered the protagonist to pen his life for a movie. If he refuses to do so, the criminal mastermind might have to mail Castle back home "piece by piece."
Will Rick be able to get out of the mess?
Find out when "Castle" Season 8 airs this Monday, May 2 at 10 on ABC.
