Celebrity Weddings: ABC's Gio Benitez Marries Tommy DiDario

Gio Benitez has recently confirmed that he has tied the knot with Tommy DiDario on Saturday in front of their family and friends in Miami.

In an exclusive interview with People, the ABC News correspondent said, "It's so special to see how excited our friends and family have been about this wedding. It truly is celebration of love - our own, and what love means in their own lives. We are so moved and humbled to celebrate together."

DiDario, who is a lifestyle and men's wear blogger, also said the support and love they both received from their friends and family have made the experience much more worth it.

Megs, DiDario's sister, officiated the wedding and in front of 160 friends and relatives, the Benitez and DiDario exchanged vows that they wrote for each other. The wedding was held at the historic Walton House in Miami, Florida.

In a separate report by the same outlet, Benitez shared that he popped the question to DiDario in front of the Eiffel Tower in Paris. The photo of his proposal has become viral on Facebook and many people in the LGBT community were inspired by their love story.

The couple met through social media and on their first date, they immediately clicked, as other dates followed and they realized that they were ready to take the next step in life as a married couple.

The duo also planned their wedding ceremony together including the picking of their tuxedos and the creation of their custom wedding ties.

According to ABC News, the two proceeded to Key Largo, Florida before they tied the knot for their pre-wedding shoot and in photos shared by the two on social media, they looked happy and intimate.

The Daily Mail reports that Destination Photographers Studio Two Weddings took the amazing photos that included the pair striking a sweet pose by the sea and one where they intimately stared at each other's eyes as the evening came.
