Channing Split Rumors: Actor and Wife Jenna Dewan-Tatum Slam Divorce Reports

Channing Tatum and his wife Jenna Dewan-Tatum are the latest Hollywood couple to face rumors that their marriage is in shambles.

The actors met in 2006 while co-starring in "Step Up" and began dating shortly after the film had finished production. Tatum and his wife then married on July 11, 2009, and have since welcomed a daughter, Everly, born last year. Despite being just days away from their fourth wedding anniversary, reports are suggesting a split for Tatum and Dewan.

"Channing constantly hits on women, removes [his] wedding ring and goes out clubbing," a source told Star magazine, noting that the couple are "fighting over his drinking and partying."

However, Tatum and his wife are speaking out against the tabloid fodder, denying reports that they are headed for a divorce with a sarcastic press release on Wednesday, June 25.

"Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan-Tatum Caught in Three-Way with Sasquatch in 7-11 Bathroom," the statement began, according to E! News. "Would be a more accurate headline for Star Magazine's cover. But this is our world – where mags can concoct outright lies about real people in order to sell it to you as 'journalism.' Hope we all think hard about what this means and start to demand better. I know we can. Love y'all."

In the past, Tatum, who stars in five movies this year alone, has gushed about his dancer and actress wife. Just last summer, the 34-year-old "22 Jump Street" star revealed a vacation to Hawaii early in their relationship when he realized just how special Dewan-Tatum was.

"We were on our first trip together, in Hawaii, trying to find this waterfall," he explained, according to Elle magazine. "There were trail markers … but we had to walk for about four and a half hours [to find it]. Then I looked up – we don't have four and a half hours of light to get back. We don't have flashlights. We don't have anything, It starts to get dark, so we're jogging back a little quicker, you couldn't see your hand in front of your face."

Fortunately, Dewan-Tatum had a laid-back approach to the potentially dangerous situation.

"Most people would panic, 'This is your fault,' blah blah blah," Tatum continued. "But Jenna was completely sane, just trying to get the job done. We got out, covered in mud, and there was one more beer in my bag. We shared it by the side of the road."
