Chelsea Clinton Apartment: $10.5 Million for 4 Bedrooms, 6 Bathrooms in NYC

Chelsea Clinton is moving on up in New York City. The politician's daughter is swapping out her $4 million home, which she shares with husband Marc Mezvinsky, for a $10.5 million investment.

The couple, who married in 2010, was walking around the central Manhattan area when they discovered the 5,000-square-foot property. Located in the Flatiron district, the apartment is just off of Madison Square Park, according to Capital Bay.

The apartment has four bedrooms and 6-and-half bathrooms, in addition to a home office and a media room. Inside are state of the art appliances, marble counter tops, and timber floors.

Clinton's parents allegedly made a visit to the couple's new pad last week. The couple was photographed posing with Bill and Hillary Clinton in the area.

"It's great for them, because it is in a hot neighborhood and it is very private. There aren't hundreds of neighbors, and there is great security," a source told The New York Post.

The apartment is located in the Whitman; a 5-story luxury building that has only one apartment per floor. Amenities included a gym, a key-locked elevator, and a full view of the park. There is also a 252-square-foot outdoor terrace.

The couples' previous apartment, which was also in the Flatiron district, was located on 5th and included three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a gym and doorman. The couple apparently signed the papers for their new property last month, according to The New York Post.

Clinton is the only child of Hilary and Bill. Last year her contract as a news correspondent for NBC was renewed. She is also on the board of directors for IAC.
