'Chicago Fire' News, Spoilers: The Real Deal Between Casey And Dawson; Will Herrmann Make It Alive In Season 4B?
There are a lot of questions that need to be answered when NBC's hit action drama TV series "Chicago Fire" Season 4 returns from its holiday hiatus.
The most prevalent of such issues may concern the real status between Casey and Dawson. The characters, played by Jesse Spencer and Monica Raymund respectively, have been reunited for a number of episodes already. However, Casey still hasn't returned the engagement ring on Dawson's hand.
For Spencer, after all that they've been through, a "re-proposal" is not needed anymore.
In a conversation with TVLine, he said that "in their hearts and minds, they are already married."
"They're together. I don't see them breaking up. I, as Jesse, would be traumatized if they had to break up at this point. I'm a big ['Dawsey'] shipper. But the actual marriage is inconsequential," Spencer told the media outlet.
But if pushed further, a married status might affect their relationship. As what TVLine explained, there's a rule among firefighters prohibiting married co-workers from working together in the same house. Spencer added that if they officially tie the knot then one of them will eventually be forced to move to another house.
Raymund, on her part, admitted to TVLine that she doesn't have any idea where the show has kept the engagement ring prop. But talking about her character's relationship with Casey, she's a firm believer that all things will be well between them.
On the tragic side of things, fans are wondering about the fate that awaits Herrmann when the show returns to the small screen in the coming days.
The character, played by David Eigenberg, was stabbed and left for dead during the fall finale. However, viewers may find the Truck 81 firefighter alive and well based on the new teaser photo for the show's upcoming episode.
Shared over at Carter Matt, the image revealed Herrmann being surrounded by his colleagues at the hospital as he laid in bed, hooked to life-saving apparatus. The said photo, according to the media outlet, was for the episode called "The Beating Heart."
Find out how these events unfold when "Chicago Fire" Season 4 airs Tuesday, Jan. 5 at 9 p.m. on NBC.
