'Chicago Fire' Season 4 Episode 17 Spoilers: Severide and the Squad Horrifying Discovery; Casey's Alderman Campaign Pushes Through
The long wait is finally over. After going off air for a considerable amount of time, NBC's hit action drama TV series "Chicago Fire" returns this week with a brand new episode that will see the squad uncovering something very shocking. Meanwhile, the fight for the seat of the Alderman continues.
According to the details dropped by The Futon Critic for the episode titled "What Happened to Courtney," Severide and Cruz will be responding to an emergency call concerning a potential carbon monoxide leak inside a home. What seems to be an ordinary response duty turns out to be quite terrifying when they uncover the remains of a child trapped inside the chimney.
The promo video offers a quick glimpse on what's coming up ahead on the episode. The clip opens up with the team on site of the emergency. Scenes then showed a thermal scan of a body placed behind the walls. They were then seen retrieving something between the bricks, which fans can pretty much figure out to be the dead body of the poor child.
The TFC summary added that going into the investigation, they will learn that the shocking discovery could be linked to a case Severide had worked on years ago.
Will they finally identify the body and most of all pin down the person behind such chilling act?
In another development, the election day for the city's Alderman is drawing nearer and everyone braces themselves for what is about to come. Needless to say, Casey and Becks will be at the center of this tension as both candidates work on convincing the public to vote for them. However, the incumbent official is cooking up something which he believes can topple Casey's campaign. This would prompt Dawson to enlist the firehouse for their help to ensure the candidacy of her husband. Casey himself, won't easily back down on Beck's grievous attempts.
"Chicago Fire" Season 4 "What Happened To Courtney" premieres this Tuesday, Mar. 29, at 10 p.m. on NBC.
