'Chicago Fire' Season 4 Episode 5 Spoilers: Firehouse 51 Gets Into Conflict With New Fire Chief
Things are getting more heated up in NBC's hit action drama TV series "Chicago Fire" Season 4 as it returns this week with a brand new episode that will see the entirety of Firehouse 51 getting into trouble with their new chief. Meanwhile, an official announcement is expected to bring cheer to the fans of the show.
The synopsis shared over at The Futon Critic for the episode titled "Regarding This Wedding" tells how a fire destroyed a wedding location. With the intention to continue with the ceremony despite the accident, Boden will offer the firehouse as an alternative wedding venue.
It can be assumed that the other members of FH51 will be glad to host the wedding but the summary from TFC says this initiative won't sit well with Chief Riddle.
The new chief will further butt heads with the members of the organization when he begin to question Dawson, who just returned to the house, on her performance.
The promo video for the episode shows just how bent Chief Riddle is to make the lives of the firefighters a literal hell.
"I'd advise you take additional leave," the official told Gabriella who apparently isn't pleased with what she heard.
"This isn't fair," she said in between her gritted teeth.
Severide, on his part, has become even more determined to get back to his old position. Fans may remember the character getting demoted to a lower rank in the earlier episodes of the current season.
Severide's constant appeals come as a nuisance for Captain Patterson. The newly-appointed commanding officer seems to be torn between giving what his colleagues want while at the same time managing the whole department.
Don't miss the intriguing developments when "Chicago Fire" Season 4 airs this Tuesday, Nov. 10, at 10 p.m. on NBC.
In a recent related news, Variety cited the official statement of NBC Chairman Bob Greenblatt confirming the renewal of the said series as well as its sister show, "Chicago P.D." for Season 5 and 4, respectively. Greenblatt also announced the upcoming spinoff of the two shows, "Chicago Med," which is slated to premiere next Tuesday, Nov. 17.
"This is a great city full of culture and it's a city full of heroes. Hopefully, we're depicting them properly in these series. We couldn't be more proud as a network to have these three shows," NBC executive said (via Variety).
