'Chicago Fire' Season 4 Episode 9 Spoilers: Severide Makes A Huge Discovery
Things are definitely heating up as the fourth season of NBC's hit action-drama TV series "Chicago Fire," continues this week with yet another exciting and suspenseful brand new episode that could lift the major characters up in the story from the troubles they are currently involved in.
Fans may remember that the situation has become even worse for Chief Boden and his family. In "When Tortoises Fly," Serena, Boden's accuser, disappeared after the latter's wife, Donna, confronted the woman in public. This led to the arrest of the department chief.
But Boden's predicament will further push the people in Firehouse 51 to bring justice to the officer as well as free themselves from the shackles of their current captain, Patterson.
According to the synopsis shared over at The Futon Critic for the episode titled "Short and Fat," Severide won't be able to sit still while Boden is being locked away. It is said that the Squad 3 lieutenant will get wind of information that leads to the potential location of Serena. This new development will prompt him to call on some of Chicago's finest, officers Atwater and Ruzek, to look into the tip and search for more details about Boden's case. The mission will take the "Chicago P.D." characters into Lake Carlyle where it's possible that the accuser is being kept hidden.
The other members of the house will also be having their share of troubles. It appears that conflict is brewing between Jimmy and Chili. As to what kind of disagreements they are facing, it remains to be seen. Meanwhile, Herrmann and Otis give Freddie an assignment that would keep him near them.
Outside the office, the team will be facing an emergency case that would have them racing against the clock.
The teaser clip shared over at YouTube reveals an accident involving a container van. What makes the situation even more dangerous is that the van happens to be carrying a tank that is leaking some sort of corrosive or flammable chemicals that, if left unattended, could "knock down the whole neighborhood."
"Chicago Fire" Season 4 airs Tuesday, at 10 p.m. on NBC.
