'Chicago PD' Season 3 Episode 13 Spoilers: Hunt For Misbehaving Cop Exposes Corruption Among The Ranks
NBC's hit police procedural drama TV series "Chicago P.D." Season 3 returns this week with a brand new episode that will find the characters going after a misbehaving cop, an investigation which further uncovers a much larger mess. Meanwhile, the CPD prepares for an upcoming sports event.
According to the synopsis shared over at The Futon Critic for the episode titled "Hit Me," viewers will get to see the squad hot on the trail of an officer who is allegedly attacking and robbing women who are leaving a local casino.
Taking the case head-on is Lindsay (Sophia Bush) who will be called on to go undercover and catch the suspected cop red-handed. However, the operation will suffer some setbacks when Detective Watts (guest star Erik Jensen), the officer who "oversees all cases out of the casino," comes into the picture and wants to join in the fray. Watts threatens Lindsay that he would blow her cover should he not be included in the mission. This won't sit well with Voight (Jason Beghe) who is rather annoyed with Watts' forcing his way in.

Could the CPD officer be somehow involved in the racketeering? Is he trying to protect someone within the ranks?
In another development, Burgess (Marina Squerciati) is planning to transfer Districts and therefore gets the ball rolling on it, while waiting for Platt's (Amy Morton) approval. Mouse (guest star Samuel Hunt) will set Ruzek (Patrick Flueger) up with a friend of his in hopes of cheering him up.
Meanwhile, Antonio (Jon Seda) will volunteer to be Roman's (Brian Geraghty) replacement in the forthcoming boxing match called "Battle of The Badges" against the people from Chicago Fire's Firehouse 51. It has been reported that Steven R. McQueen will once again crossover into the series in his role as Jimmy for the said sporting event.
