'Chicago PD' Season 3 Episode 18 Spoilers: Team Looks Into A Battered Women's Shelter Kidnapping case
NBC's hit police procedural drama TV series "Chicago PD" Season 3 returns this week with a brand new episode that will see the team racing against the clock to save a woman who got abducted from a shelter. Meanwhile, spoiler report indicates that Lindsay will soon be opening up about herself to Halstead.
First off, the synopsis shared over at the Futon Critic for the episode called 'Kasual With A K" indicates that the team led by Voight (Jason Beghe), Antonio (Jon Seda), and Halstead (Jesse Lee Soffer) will be in a hot pursuit of a ruthless person who attacked and kidnapped women staying in a secret shelter.
The promo trailer offers a preview on the events that are about to transpire in the upcoming episode. The shelter was actually run by a public defender who takes battery cases. Her initiative obviously didn't sit well with a lot of people. The shooting incident unfortunately injured the woman very seriously. The CPD weren't able to obtain the information that they want and now they have tread on the details on their own.
The TFC summary hints that Voight and Co. will have to do it fast because a resident of the said institution is still missing which puts her life in grave danger. But the mission won't be that easy for Chicago's finest given that that the shelter has no documentation of their residents' respective identities. Will they be able to make it in time to save the woman?
In another development, Burgess (Marina Squerciati) and Roman (Brian Geraghty) are tasked to go undercover to bring down a criminal who deceives people into meeting him and then later on, rob them of their valuables.
Meanwhile, it has now come to a point where Lindsay (Sophia Bush) will open up Halstead about her past. In an interview, Bush told Entertainment Weekly that Lindsay's revelation will give more sense on her actions on why she chose to keep mum.
"The fans will be very surprised by what they learn about her in one sense, and I think it'll also make all of the reasons that she is the way she is make even more sense at the same time," the actress told the media outlet.
"Chicago PD" Season 3 airs Wednesdays, at 10 p.m. on NBC.
