'Criminal Minds' Season 11 Episode 9 Spoilers: BAU, NSA Wage War On Online Drug Syndicate; Hotch Looks Out For Garcia's Safety
After a brief hiatus, CBS' hit police-procedural drama TV series, "Criminal Minds" Season 11 is returning this week with yet another intense and suspenseful brand new episode that will feature the Behavioral Analysis Unit working with another government agency. Meanwhile, concerns for a colleague's safety forces the BAU's head to avail of the witness protection program.
Called "Internal Affairs," the spoiler report from Carter Matt said that the BAU will get wind of a case that involves the murder of two undercover Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) agents and a third agent who is still missing.
The said investigation will prompt the team to connect the murder and kidnapping to that of an underground Internet drug ring. The said criminal organization proves to be a hard one to take down as they reportedly operate with great discretion online. With this at hand, the FBI squad will have to partner with the people from NSA to help them track the location of the suspected group, while at the same time, save the abducted agent from danger.
The episode summary from Carter Matt also said that Hotch will find their collaboration with the NSA as an opportunity to also tackle an ongoing problem with the "Dirty Dozen" assassins. Fans may remember that the guns for hire are going after one of the BAUs. It is now the team's mission to ensure the safety of Garcia who appears to be the assassins' target. According to the report, Hotch may avail of the witness protection program for the technical analyst.
Aside from Garcia's welfare, it would also be wise for the criminal profilers to know exactly who ordered the assassination as the "Dirty Dozen" only seem to operate when being paid for. If not, what could be their reason to take down the FBI analyst?
