'Dance Moms' Season 6 Spoilers: Vertes Ladies Controversy
A mother-daughter duo from the hit reality series "Dance Moms" have voiced out their sentiments regarding the controversy surrounding them in the show.
The previous episodes of "Dance Moms" Season 6 have showed the animosity between Jill Vertes and Ashlee Allen. This was not well-received by the fans of the show, who expressed their negative feelings towards Vertes on social media.
The most recent episode of the series saw Jill refusing to celebrate Brynn Rumfalo's permanent place on the team after Rumfallo won a competition. Because of this, Vertes was portrayed as a bully since she made Brynn cry. Viewers of the series began sending tweets to Vertes about her actions and questioning her treatment of the other young dancers.
With that, Vertes addressed all the negative comments at her by tweeting, "People shouldn't judge a person or a child from what they see on a TV show. I'm not a bully, but I surely am being bullied now. Funny how people hate a bully, then act a bully."
Vertes claimed that not everything is seen on television. She continued to speak about certain times that Ashlee has been a bully herself, despite the fact that she is continuously portrayed as a victim on the show. She explained that the producers of the show craft each 42 episode by taking parts of a 60 hour footage in order to create the drama surrounding her and her daughter.
In addition, she expressed her disbelief in how she and her daughter are treated due to what is being shown on television. She said, "Truly a shame! Kendall is an innocent child caught in an adult game. I guess time will tell. Kendall is a well-adjusted young girl with a great story to tell."
"Dance Moms" Season 6 airs on Lifetime every Tuesday nights.
