'Daredevil' Season 2 News: New Posters Released Featuring Daredevil, Punisher, and Elektra

In line with the release of "Daredevil" season 2 on Netflix, Marvel has released four new posters for fans of Daredevil, the Punisher, and Elektra to chew on.

In one of the images obtained by Comic Book, Elektra (Elodie Yung) is shown from the top of her nose down to her hips. Her hands are crossed as she holds her sais making a "V" sign. The photo is all but black and red, highlighting the series' trademark hues.

In another image, Frank Castle a.k.a The Punisher (Jon Bernthal) and his bullet is featured. While Bernthal is blurred in the background, his finger holding up a bullet with a skull etched on it is enough for fans to know that he will be into a lot of action in season 2.

Finally, the last two photos put the show's star in the spotlight. The first image may not be suitable for some as the Devil of Hell's Kitchen (Charlie Cox) grimaces with blood oozing from his red-stained teeth and lips. He also has his hands clasped in front of him, as if ready to devour another foe.

The second image featuring Daredevil is much more calm as he stands still with just a bit of blood smeared on the right side of his lip and cheek.

Coming Soon asked fans what they think about the show which is available for streaming on Netflix now. Most of the viewers commented that production's decision to up to level of brutality is probably the best aspect of season 2.

A lot of fans also commended The Punisher for his amazing personality, while Daredevil, according to some, is now better than he has ever been. Some said his mask looks a lot better now.

The second season follows Matt/Daredevil's journey of bringing justice to the city. While there are trials along the way, including the rebirth of Frank into a vindictive villain, a twist into his chaotic life is brought about in the form of his old flame: Elektra.
