Dark Horse Comics to Release Chronological 'Hellboy Omnibus' Collections
Dark Horse Comics has contributed to the increasing hype surrounding the "Hellboy" reboot by announcing that new "Hellboy Omnibus" collections will be released.
"Hellboy," originally created by Mike Mignola, is being adapted yet again into a film with David Harbour as the titular character. In anticipation of the reboot, Dark Horse will be releasing new editions of the comic books which will be shown in chronological order. There are four new "Hellboy Omnibus" collections to look forward to.
"I'm very excited to finally have all the Hellboy stories collected in chronological order," Mignola said in a statement (via The Hollywood Reporter). "And I'm especially excited to have the three Duncan Fegredo books — all the stuff with Alice and the Queen of Blood — together in one collection for the first time."

Production on the "Hellboy" reboot is already underway. Harbour has already released a photo of him as the half-demon. The "Stranger Things" actor took to social media to share a close-up look at his turn as Hellboy.
Prior to that, Mignola also shared a photo of Harbour as Hellboy. The shot had a more complete look at the full transformation.
Meanwhile, the upcoming reboot has already found someone to replace Ed Skrein as Ben Daimio. According to Deadline, Daniel Dae Kim has been tapped to play the Asian character.
"I'm excited to confirm that I've officially joined the cast of Hellboy," Kim said. "We start shooting today and I'll be playing Ben Daimio, alongside our very talented cast, headed by David Harbour, and director, Neil Marshall."
Skrein was previously set to portray Daimio, but he dropped out after his casting received a lot of backlash for whitewashing. The "Game of Thrones" actor apologized to those who became upset with the casting and admitted that he did not know the character was of Asian descent when he accepted the part.
Fans can purchase the first volume of "Hellboy Omnibus" in comic book stores on May 23, 2018. It will subsequently be available in bookstores on June 5, 2018.
