It was stated that the car accident took place because Eric, played by Greg Vaughan, was drunk driving. With that, he will struggle with depression as he faces Daniel's loved ones.

Fortunately, Brady, played by Eric Martsolf, was able to survive the accident even though he was accompanied by Doctor Daniel Jonas. It was revealed that since Daniel was an organ donor, his heart was given to Brady.

With that, the episode to come will present the memorial service for Daniel. Brady will attend the service since he has already healed from the transplant. He will be joined by other characters such as Nicole, played by Arianne Zucker, who was Daniel's fiancée. It was revealed that she will be giving Eric a hard time and that she will not forgive him for what he has done.

It was revealed that his former love interest Chloe, played by Nadia Bjorlin, will also be present, along with his children, Parker, played by Christian Ganiere, and Melanie, played by Molly Burnett. His mother Maggie, played by Suzanne Rogers, will also be present as they overcome a tragic time in their lives.

"Days of Our Lives" airs on NBC every weekdays.
