'DC's Legends of Tomorrow' Season 1 Episode 2 Spoilers: The Hunt For Savage Continues
The CW's latest small screen offering "DC's Legends of Tomorrow" has finally premiered and it revealed some of the most intriguing storylines in the DC universe. It appears that Vandal Savage has succeeded in his plans to conquer the world but thanks to Rip Hunter, it looks like there's still hope to change the events and defeat the common enemy.
With the Legends already gathered, it is now the task for Ray Palmer/The Atom, Sara Lance/White Canary, Jefferson Jackson and Dr. Martin Stein/FIRESTORM, Mick Rory/Heat Wave, Leonard Snart/Captain Cold, Carter Hall/Hawkman, and Kendra Saunders/Hawkgirl, to go further down into the rabbit hole and pin down Savage.
According to the synopsis shared over at The Futon Critic for the second part of the pilot episode, the group will get wind of information pointing towards Savage's whereabouts. The plan would be to infiltrate a shady munitions deal headed by the villain. Prof. Stein will pose as the group's leader. They will eventually find themselves among the company of some of the toughest criminals in the world of that time. As expected, things will take a turn for the worse when Savage senses that there's something off with the newcomers and it seems like they don't actually belong there.
The TFC summary hinted that a massive fight will occur after their cover is blown. In consequence, a piece of the Atom's suit gets chipped off and falls into the wrong hands. Palmer knows full well that this piece of technology should be retrieved else some disastrous consequences in the future will happen.
To do this, Stein must find his younger self. Sara and Jax will accompany the elderly genius. Hunter won't exactly be pleased with the digression. In another development, Snart and Rory come up with a plan to steal a key element for destroying Savage. However, there will still be some hiccups when trust issues come into play.
Find out how these events unfold when "Legends of Tomorrow" airs this Thursday, Jan. 28, at 8 p.m. on The CW.
