'Deadpool 2' Cast News: Wolverine to Appear?

The hype for "Deadpool" is on highs as its premiere date draws near, and even with the first movie not even hitting big screens yet, buzz about the sequel is very much felt on forums and social media platforms.

One of the latest rumors that has been circling around the net for the past few days is that of an "X-Men" original appearing in "Deadpool 2." He is not just the small-time hero that appears every now and then; in fact, he is Hugh Jackman and he is Wolverine.

According to the reports, Wolverine may appear in the sequel. While it is unclear if he will be a friend or a foe in case he does make an appearance, fans are already up for the idea of seeing their beloved Logan in another movie aside from "Wolverine" and "X-Men."

However, the rumor has been heavily debated in some forums since some suggest that this will be impossible — at least in the instance that Logan appears in the form of another actor. This idea came about after some fans realized that Jackman already announced that "Wolverine 3" will be the last movie he will take up as Logan.

Fans went crazy over the news, especially since he has been in the hearts of millions of moviegoers for the past decade. It would truly be a pain to see him hang up his blades after the third "Wolverine" movie.

That being said, it is speculated that another actor will have to step up to the plate and care for the blades now that Jackman will be retiring. The idea isn't very much welcome to most fans, but still, it would be nice to see Wolverine and Deadpool in a battle — in case Logan is a villain in "Deadpool 2."

Until the sequel for "Deadpool" is confirmed, fans should just drop by theaters when the first movie releases and wait for further news about the rumored appearance of Wolverine (and if he will still be Jackman).
