Deer-UFO Photo and Video Sparks Alien Talk in Mississippi

A deer, UFO sightings photo has stunned some in the online community this week, after the photo appeared to show a deer lit up by an object in the sky, which of course has many touting it as a UFO.

The 2014 photo was in fact taken by an automated hunting camera, and has sparked huge discussion online across the globe.

The "deer-UFO" photo was taken on Feb. 16, 2014 in a hunting area near the Cumbest Bluff of Jackson County, Mississippi.

The trail camera reportedly recorded the incident at about 7.20 p.m. local time, and appeared to show a dim light start to appear as a number of deer are shown. The deer are apparently then lit up brightly by a spotlight even though the trail camera uses infrared and does not need any lights to operate and record.

At about 7.56 p.m. a shape is then shown to appear with lights floating in the sky. Some have claimed it must be a car, however, others quickly dismissed that idea as there were not any other roads nearby in the area.

Rainer and Edith Shattles, who own the trail cameras, have admitted they are stumped by what the lights could be.

Rainier has said, "Well, if it's alien, I'm not sure about that. But it's definitely a UFO. Now whether it's a government drone or what, I wish if nothing else, one of them would step up and say, 'Yes, that's ours.' It's a puzzle that may never be solved and it's one that's kind of fun, adds a little flavor to life, I guess you could say. We are just fascinated over it because of the fact that it was right here and it's real."

Here is the video footage from the so-called "Deer UFO" video:
