Denver Broncos Roster Rumors 2016: Ryan Clady All Good in Restructuring Contract
The Denver Broncos are heading to the Super Bowl 50 as the heavy underdogs against the mighty Carolina Panthers. And while they certainly need all the help they can get, they don't expect to get that from left tackle Ryan Clady, who torn his ACL back in May of last year. He missed the entire season and will miss his supposedly second stint in American football's biggest event.
Although he no longer can help the Broncos' cause this season, he welcomes the idea of restructuring his contract in order to stay with the team the rest of the way, although he admits that the team has not made any move about doing so. In his current contract, he is slated to earn $9.5 million next season and $10 million the season after that.
Talking to the Associated Press, he signified his intention of staying in Denver for good. "I'm sure that'll come after the season," he said. "I'm definitely willing to talk. I definitely would like to be a lifetime Bronco."

The 29-year-old offensive tackle is expected to make a full recovery and become available for the Broncos at the start of the new season and he's quite positive that the team will be speaking to him about the contract restructuring right after the Super Bowl.
In his absence, the Broncos utilized rookie Ty Sambrailo in the first three games of the regular season, but he too went down with a shoulder injury. The next able body in line is the 30-year-old Ryan Harris, who is expected to assume a major responsibility against the Panthers. Harris is expected to become a free agent right after this season and his performance in the Super Bowl will determine his value in free agency.
Interestingly, Clady is one of the seven injured players in the roster who traveled with the team to California on Sunday. The team spirit is high and being underdogs gives them little pressure heading into the Super Bowl.
