'Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuths Hacker's Memory' Release Date Details Revealed
Bandai Namco Entertainment America has finally come out with a firm release date for the Western release of "Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuths Hacker's Memory." The new version officially hits the PlayStation 4 in North America and Europe on Jan. 19, 2018.
Along with the launch date, Bandai Namco also released a new teaser trailer for the role-playing game. Sharing much elements and locations from its predecessor, the game features a new story and an expanded amount of Digimon creatures the player can collect.
Players are put into the shoes of Keisuke Amazawa, a Digimon tamer who became a victim of identity theft. Taking place in the same world as the original game, Amazawa goes on a wild adventure to the world of Eden to clear his name after being accused of a crime he didn't commit.

He joins a group of hackers called "Hudie" in search of the culprit and befriends a Digimon along the way. Amazawa can command up to three of his Digimon companions which they can obtain as they progress in the game.
"Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuths Hacker's Memory" features a total of 320 Digimon which includes all those present in the first game and an additional 73 new creatures. Players will be able to choose between Gotsumon, Betamon, or Tentomon as their partner at the start of the game.
Hacker's memory was first announced back in March as a follow-up to "Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth" which was released back in 2015. While there will be an English version of the game, it will not feature an English dub. Also, it will only be released as a digital-only title available from the PlayStation Network.
"Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuths Hacker's Memory" is currently available for pre-order through select retailers and includes a handful of bonus items. These include four Digimon namely Omnimon NX, Sistermon Ciel and Blanc, Leopardmon NX, and Crusadermon NX, as well as a set of exclusive costumes including V. Uchida Costume, Summer Camp T-Shirt, Beelzebumon Emblem T-Shirt, and Inoden School Attire.
