'Doctor Strange' News: Rachel McAdams' Role and New Photos Revealed
The most magical movie in the history of Marvel is still in the works but newly released photos only suggest that fans will see something more than magic in the upcoming movie.
In exclusive photos obtained by Entertainment Weekly, Benedict Cumberbatch is seen for the first time dressed in his "Doctor" suit. With a bright red cape, dark blue clothing that looks like a vest, and what seems to be a medallion used to button down his cape, fans are surely in for a wild ride.
One of the photos shows Doctor Stephen Strange in action as he seems to draw energy from his hands with a beautiful red and yellow shade. Sparks from the energy drawn from his hands fly around and the Doctor appears to prepare for an offensive attack.

Another photo shows the mystic Doctor on his left, with a serious stare that talks of his struggles and the rough road he took before getting his hands working once again after the tragic car accident.
In another concept art photo, Cumberbatch lies at a hospital bed with doctors all around him. His face speaks of nothing but pain and desperation as his bleeding hands seem to have given up hope of recovery.
Meanwhile, another exciting update about the dark-themed movie has been revealed recently.
When Rachel McAdams was cast for the movie, fans immediately started speculating about what role she will take on. Fortunately, fans no longer need to wonder since Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige gave details to EW as to what McAdams' character is all about.
"Rachel McAdams plays a fellow surgeon that has a history with Strange and is sort of lynchpin to his old life, once he steps into he role of a sorcerer," Feige said.
He further explained that McAdams' character is someone that Strange has had a connection from the beginning, and while something happens to tear them apart, they will once again be reunited. Basically, the character "helps anchor his [Cumberbatch] humanity."
"Doctor Strange" hits the big screens on Nov. 4, 2016.
