'Doctor Strange' Spoilers: Tie-In with 'Agent Carter' Season 2
With the upcoming Marvel film "Doctor Strange" fast approaching, details for the film have been revealed.
It was revealed that the upcoming film will serve as the origin story of the Marvel character Doctor Stephen Vincent Strange.
Fans of the comic are aware that Doctor Strange got his powers when he tried to heal his hands that were damaged. With that, he will seek out the magic realm in order to recover from the accident, which will lead him to the mystical arts. Because of this, he will become the Sorcerer Supreme of Earth.

However, it was not yet confirmed if the upcoming film will follow exactly this. What is confirmed is that the character will be portrayed by Benedict Cumberbatch, well known for his portrayal of Sherlock Holmes on the series "Sherlock."
According to Just Jared, Cumberbatch recently shared some details about his role. He said, "I'm still in the infancy of learning all that. It was like, okay, I've got to keep throwing these poses, these spells, these rune-casting things, everything he does physically."
With that, fans can expect the upcoming film to expand the Marvel Cinematic Universe. It was also revealed that one of Marvel's TV series will also be making a connection to the upcoming film. According to Comic Book Resources, one of the showrunners of "Agent Carter," Michele Fazekas, explained that season 2 of the series will have a connection to "Doctor Strange."
He stated, "They stumble upon what people in the Marvel Universe will know as Darkforce, but because they've never seen it before they just name it Zero Matter. That's our tie-in to the 'Doctor Strange' universe, and also to 'S.H.I.E.L.D.' because you've seen it in 'S.H.I.E.L.D.' as well."
"Doctor Strange" is expected to hit theaters in the United Kingdom this Oct. 28 and in the United States this Nov. 4.
