'Downtown Abbey' Season 6 Episode 7 Spoilers: Will It Really Be A Happy Ending For Mary and Henry?

Things are about to get even more interesting as the sixth season of the hit British period drama TV series "Downton Abbey" continues with an episode that is expected to see the romantic affair between Lady Mary (Michelle Dockery) and Henry Talbot (Matthew Goode) blossom further.

After the gruelling struggle the two had to go through, Mary and Henry finally shared a sweet kiss in a certain alleyway in London.

Adding more excitement to this development, the synopsis released by the network and shared over at Carter Matt said that Henry will invite the Crawleys to watch him in one of his races.

Viewers may have felt for the characters, especially for Mary, whom many believed didn't have any hope in that particular aspect of life. However, the future is still unclear between the two. Dockery, during the interview with the Mirror UK, admitted that the chemistry is there between Mary and the car racer. However, it doesn't mean that the affair will last.

"At the moment it's looking good but we will have to see," she said as she went on to warn of an impending shocker about the Crawley woman.

"There could be someone else around," she revealed to the media outlet.

Followers of the show may already know that the only person other than Henry is Allen Leech's Tom Branson. The latter just returned from America after a failed business venture. The change of his attitude and perspective in life eventually caught Mary to whom he shared the same ideals.

Speculations even went on to mention that the two might officially seal the deal towards the end of the final season. Regardless of which, it remains to be seen how this complicated love affair will turn out.

"Downton Abbey" Season 6 airs Sundays on ITV. The show has yet to premiere next year in USA via the PBS channel.
