Dragon Age: Inquisition Demo Playable at PAX Australia

BioWare's "Dragon Age: Inquisition" is scheduled to be released on Nov. 18 this year for the Playstation 3, Playstation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and the Windows PC. It is a direct sequel to "Dragon Age: Origins" and "Dragon Age II" and will be the third major title in the "Dragon Age" franchise.

While the release is only a month away, the publisher Electronic Arts has confirmed that the game will be playable during the Penny Arcade Expo this weekend. EA will be making a 30-minute demo available to the public to play where the demo will be focusing on the Hinterland area. The demos will take place at the EA Community players lounge on Level One.

"The entire BioWare team is delighted to give Australian fans the opportunity to get hands-on with Dragon Age: Inquisition," Mike Laidlaw said, BioWare's Creative Director.

"The level of detail built into the game is outstanding and we're excited to bring our game to PAX Australia and meet our fans," he added.

Aside from the demo, BioWare will also be holding a Behind the Scenes panel on Saturday morning, a Q&A, as well as a developer signing on Friday afternoon. Among those who will be joining the event will be Laidlaw, Aidan Scanlan the Assistant Director of Design, and Mark Wilson the Lead Technical Designer.

The game will still be set in the continent of Thedas, the world where the two previous games were also set. There will be more geographic territory to cover with one of the maps being described to be around four to five times the size of Ferelden, where the first game was set.
