Duggar Family News: Jill And Husband Derick Dillard Update Fans On Central American Mission

Jill (Duggar) Dillard, one of the stars of the new TLC reality family TV series "Jill & Jessa: Counting On," recently shared on their family's website this week, an update on how she, her husband Derick and son Israel, are doing in Central America.

Citing the report from People.com, the 24-year-old mother was quite happy to announce the progress of her 7-month-old son. In a statement, she said that the boy "has been busy this week showing [them] new tricks!"

The Duggar clan member went on to share the details with her fans, saying that she and her 26-year-old husband were utterly surprised to see the progress happening to their son on a daily basis.

"Every day for the last three days he has learned something new! First it was clapping, then crawling, pulling up into a standing position and waving!" the mother said.

The couple is also expecting some changes as Israel has become "a little fussier than normal." The mother explained that he is about to "cut his first two teeth."

Besides Israel, Derick also had some teeth issues but thankfully, the husband and wife were able to find a good dentist in the area who fixed Derick's orthodontic set.

For the most part of their mission, Jill recounted how joyful they are in doing family visitations and Bible study.

The report from Inquistr.com said that the Dillards are quite a bit passionate when it comes to sharing the message of the Bible. The site said that the former "19 Kids and Counting" star has inspired their Spanish teacher to spend a huge amount of time on Bible study rather than on their language class.

This is despite the fact that the instructor is a religious woman who regularly attends to church masses. The only trouble is, with the time taken in doing the extra-curricular, it could take both Jill and Derick a little more time to learn the Central American lingua franca.
