Eighth Woman Accuses Mayor Bob Filner: He Tried to 'Kiss Me,' Says School Official (VIDEO)

A City College official has come forward with accusations against San Diego Mayor Bob Filner.

Lisa Curtin, director of government and military education at San Diego City College, is the eighth woman to come forward with a statement against Filner, accusing him of making unwanted sexual advances. In a recent interview, Curtin charged that Filner made advances at her following a business meeting, despite acknowledging that she was married.

The incident occurred in 2011 while Filner was still a congressman. Curtin said that following a meeting organized by Congressman Jim Bates, Filner asked to meet with her in private. When they were alone, he asked Curtin if her wedding ring was real.

"It's about 25 years worth of wedding band," she responding recalling the incident in an interview with KPBS News.

Despite a lack of interest and the acknowledgement of her marriage, Filner continued to pursue Curtin.

"He then asked me if it could come off while I was in D.C. and if I would go out with him," she said. "I said I really didn't think so. And at that point, he pulled my hand closer to him and he reached over to kiss me. I turned my head at that moment and on the side of my face, I got a very wet, saliva-filled kiss including feeling his tongue on my cheek."

Curtin said she left after the incident and reported it to a hotline at the sheriff's department. Her story echoes those of seven other women who came forward last week with reports of sexual misconduct against Mayor Filner.

"Bob Filner gives a whole new meaning to the phrase 'hands-on' government. He is so yucky," a waitress at a San Diego restaurant told The Washington Post last week.

A mix of high-profile women and anonymous tipsters have made similar claims.
