'Elementary' Season 4 Episode 18 Spoilers: Holmes Grapples With His Emotions; Sleuthing Duo Looks for Missing Doctor
Fans of CBS' hit drama TV series "Elementary" Season 4 will be caught with utter surprise when Sherlock finally talks about love and relationships. Nonetheless, this week's showing won't be short of any sleuthing action as Holmes and his trusty companion Joan Watson tackles a disappearance case.
According to the synopsis shared over at The Futon Critic for the episode titled "Ready Or Not," the duo will find themselves facing yet another challenging task. This time, it involves a missing survivalist doctor. Adding more pressure to the situation is the fact that they have yet to determine if the doc has "purposely gone off the grid or if he's a victim of foul play." Not much has been revealed about this storyline but it will be interesting to find out how the consulting detectives, especially Sherlock, be able to deal with the case given that he's quite preoccupied with some matters of the heart.
Fans know full too well that love, feelings, relationships are aspects in human life that appear strange and quite indecipherable for Holmes, and this is despite his high intelligence. So, it might be quite surprising not only for Joan but for everyone as well to see the recovering addict making an effort to take grasp his feelings. The TFC summary teases that he will be exhibiting some "odd behavior when his romantic relationship with Fiona hits a critical point."
The promo trailer shows Sherlock contemplating about that "one great romance" he had in his life. One flash of scene shows him and Irene Adler walking out together. He revealed that for him, Irene is more than a girlfriend.
Viewers can then see Fiona, who seems quite worried, rushing inside his home to look for him and the woman approaches him as if something awful has happened.
The detective confessed that relationships, for him, are hard to fathom.
