'Elementary' Season 4 Episode 5 Spoilers: Sherlock, Joan Searches For Clues On A Dead Archaeologist's Case
After a brief hiatus, CBS' hit drama TV series "Elementary" Season 4 will return to the small screen this week with yet another exciting and thrilling brand new episode that will see the clandestine pair on the lookout for clues that could help them solve the case of a dead archaeologist. Meanwhile, personal relationships will be on the rough.
According to the synopsis shared over at The Futon Critic, the episode called "The Games Underfoot" is slated to find the pair being tapped by the police to investigate the case of an archaeologist who turns up dead while being part of an excavation project in a local landfill.
Sherlock Holmes (Jonny Lee Miller) and Joan Watson (Lucy Liu) will arrive at the speculation that the man may have stumbled upon a find that he should not have discovered in the first place. Perhaps, the archaeologist was dealing with some very dangerous items and the parties involved got wind of it and opted to kill him. Regardless of which, fans are yet to find out what exactly the man of science has uncovered.
In another development, the TFC summary also hinted that viewers will get to see some personal battles about to take place. For one, there's Holmes's rift with his friend and former sobriety sponsor, Alfredo (Ato Essandoh). For Watson's part, she has yet to deal with Detective Gina Cortes' (Monique Gabriela Curnen) hostility. Fans may remember how blatant the lady cop was in revealing her dislike for Watson. The previous episode even went on to show the officer constantly harassing Sherlock's companion and barraging her with personal questions that would often catch the latter off-guard. The two women decided to settle their differences in a boxing match. The lady surgeon emerged victor.
Find out how these events unfold when "Elementary" Season 4 Episode 5 airs this Thursday, Dec. 10 at 10 p.m. on CBS.
