'Fallout 4' DLC Details: Expect A Water-Based Setting; New Mod Has Four Seasons
Months have already gone by but the hype surrounding Bethesda's latest game offering, "Fallout 4," is still going on and fans are now looking towards the possible new installments for the hit open-world action adventure video game.
According to MNRDaily.com, the game maker will actually be releasing new content for the game which they plan to roll out intermittently throughout the year. Unfortunately, specific details about these alleged DLCs are still far from being confirmed.
What is circulating now are countless theories regarding the new DLCs which the "Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim" creator will release. The most resonant speculation as of the moment is an aquatic-themed DLC. Citing several sources, it has been discovered that the "vanilla version" already has lots of hints about an underwater expansion. An example is the harpoon weapon which, when used, showed some bubble animation. This may suggest that there will certainly be some underwater setup.
Adding more fuel to the rumor are the numerous "underwater structures, wreckages, and pipes" that can be seen underneath the waters in the game.
Autoomobile.com, meanwhile, talked about some lunar adventures for the players. The media outlet particularly pointed out the moon-based Sea of Tranquility Conflict between the US and China. Aside from strolling around the arid wastelands, offering gamers the experience of going to the moon could really make the game even more interesting.
But if all these ideas are yet to be confirmed or debunked, there have already been a host of game mods made available. The most recent game mod captured the attention of fans for its capability to offer players the chance to play the game in four seasons.
Gamespot.com cited the creation of modder GameDuchess called "Fallout 4 Seasons Mod."
The description of the mod reads as follow:
- FALL SEASON - Bright autumn foliage and plants. Harvest time looks for appropriate crops.
- WINTER SEASON - It's snow everywhere folks! And "snowing" too if you like. Most everything is dead or dried out or slumbering.
- SPRING SEASON - Quite colorful! Green time for crops, and bright blooming flowers and plants!
- SUMMER SEASON - Less bright greens, few flowers, harvest time looks for appropriate crops.
It is to be noted though that currently, users can only utilize one season at a time. However, GameDuchess is looking to patch the program that would allow the game to automatically switch between seasons.
