'Far Cry Primal' Release Date: 'Far Cry 5' Rumored to be Out in 2016
"Far Cry Primal" is yet to be released in early 2016, but there are already speculations on whether Ubisoft will release a "Far Cry 5" in the same year.
Ubisoft has scheduled "Far Cry Primal's" official release date on Feb. 23, 2016, which is not so far from when the previous game was released. Since the developer did not put out a "Far Cry" game this year, there are some thinking that a "Far Cry 5" will come out in 2016 also, just a few months after "Primal" is launched, according to iDigital Times.
February 2016 still falls within Ubisoft's 2015 fiscal year, so a game released late in 2016 will be counted for the next fiscal year. This could give the developer a window of several months to prepare for the next game. However, granting that Ubisoft has never released two "Far Cry" games in one year, this trend is unlikely to change. Plus, trying to launch two "Far Cry" games in a single year would be very tedious, the report explains.

Meanwhile, Ubisoft conducted a survey among "Far Cry" fans to determine the settings that they want to be included in the next version of the game. The developer is obviously gearing up for another numerical full game that would feature unique places, Movie Pilot reports.
Some of the things that fans would want to see in "Far Cry Primal" would be more stealth, better narrative, additional interesting characters, wider selection of weapons and crafting, and more hilarious animal interaction, the report relays.
"Far Cry Primal" would provide the perfect environment for stealth action, and fans would be thrilled in taking out the enemies with this ability. As for the narrative, "Far Cry 4" did not exhibit much change from that in the previous game. It would be better if "Primal" would give players a more solid story that they could explore.
"Far Cry Primal" will officially come out on Feb. 23, 2016. While fans will be busy tinkering with the new things that the game will feature, Ubisoft will most likely use that long stretch of time to develop a fifth installment for the game.
