'Fast 8' News: Vin Diesel Shares Emotional Fan-Made Poster

On Wednesday, Vin Diesel broke the hearts of millions of fans including Mark Zuckerberg as he posted a new and rather emotional poster for "Fast 8" on social media.

In the poster up on Facebook, the actor is seen looking rather lonely as he stands at an equally lonely highway. Fans immediately noticed how emotional the actor's face is in the photo, though there were no tears. The image is also in sepia tone, making the atmosphere much more sad than the first poster Diesel shared.

Among millions of people who saw and liked the photo, Zuckerberg's name is seen appearing on the list of likes. It has also been shared by hundreds of thousands who are looking forward to the movie.

With the words "New roads ahead," the image once again reminds fans that there won't be any Paul Walker in the franchise's eighth installment. On the other hand, Entertainment Tonight reports that new faces will be joining the cast including Scott Eastwood and award-winning actress Charlize Theron.

Multiple outlets have also reported that Cody Walker won't be stepping into the plate once more to cover for any scenes for Brian O'Conner, his brother Paul's character in the film. In "Fast 7," Cody helped complete the sequences that the late actor wasn't able to finish due to his untimely death.

Despite the loss of Walker, there is a lot of excitement for the franchise as the upcoming film will spearhead the first in a new trilogy that will end with a final movie coming in April 2, 2021.

E! News adds that Michelle Rodriguez, Jason Statham, and Dwayne Johnson, along with Diesel, are all set to reprise their roles.

Despite the love and hurt showered by fans over the new banner, Screen Rant notes that it is allegedly a fan-made poster that first emerged last year but recently resurfaced online. It should be remembered that the first banner Diesel shared had the title "Fast 8" while the most recent one shows "Furious 8."

"Fast 8" is slated to hit big screens on April 14, 2017.
